Privacy Policy

Monvra is built to keep your money numbers on your own device. This page explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Last updated: November 3, 2026Effective: November 3, 2026

The short version

  • Monvra never connects to your bank.
  • Your plan (income, bills, spending, debts) is saved in your browser, not on our servers.
  • We only receive your email, and anything you choose to send when you press an AI button or start a paid plan.
  • We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising trackers.
  • You can delete everything on your device at any time from Settings → Clear all my data.

1. Who we are

Monvra (“Monvra”, “we”, “us”) is a monthly money-planning tool. It is an independent project operated by its founder as an individual based in Israel, not yet a registered company. The founder is responsible for the personal information described in this policy and can be reached at shneorhoota9@gmail.com.

This policy covers the Monvra website, the planner and dashboard, and any emails we send you. Monvra is an educational tool. It is not a bank, financial adviser or credit service.

2. What stays on your device

Most of what you type into Monvra never reaches us. It is saved in your browser’s local storage on the device you are using:

  • Your plan: income, bills and due dates, spending categories, debts, savings goals and what-if scenarios.
  • Your onboarding answers: first name, optional phone number, why you use Monvra and how you heard about us.
  • Your display currency and other settings.
  • Billing display details you add: card type, the last 4 digits and expiry date. We never ask for, and you should never type, a full card number into Monvra.

Because this data lives in your browser, we cannot see it, recover it or delete it for you. Clearing your browser data, using private browsing, or pressing Clear all my data in Settings removes it from that device.

3. Information we collect

WhatWhenWhy
Email addressWhen you start the planner, join the waitlist or sign inTo send sign-in links, launch updates and account emails
Plan figures and your questionOnly when you press an AI button (Pro)To write the AI answer you asked for
Bill names, amounts and due daysOnly if you turn on bill reminders in SettingsTo email you two days before a bill is due. Turn it off to delete them from our server
Subscription statusWhen you start or change a paid planTo unlock paid features and manage your plan
Payment detailsAt checkout, entered on our payment provider’s pageTo charge for your plan. We receive only limited details such as card type and last 4 digits
Basic technical dataWhen your browser loads our pagesTo deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems (for example IP address, browser type and error logs)
Messages you send usWhen you contact supportTo answer you

Your onboarding answers, including your phone number, stay on your device. If we later begin collecting them on our servers, we will update this policy and tell you first.

4. AI features

On Pro, the AI coach, AI quick-add and the AI investing explainer only run when you press their button. When you do, we send the figures needed to answer (such as your income, category totals, item names you typed and your question) to our server and then to our AI provider, Anthropic, to generate the response.

  • We do not intentionally store these requests after the answer is returned, other than short-lived technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
  • We do not use your plan to train AI models, and we use our AI provider under terms that do not allow them to train on it.
  • Please do not type account numbers, passwords, ID numbers or other sensitive details into AI features.

AI answers are educational and may be wrong. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice.

5. Payments

Paid plans are sold through our payment partner and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (“Paddle”). Paddle is the seller of record for your subscription: you enter your card details on Paddle’s secure checkout, not on Monvra, and Paddle handles your payment information under its own privacy policy and industry security standards (PCI DSS). Paddle also calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax that applies where you live. We receive your subscription status, your email and limited card information (such as brand, last 4 digits and expiry) so we can show your billing details and manage your plan.

6. How we use your information

  • To provide Monvra: sign you in, unlock the features of your plan and answer AI requests.
  • To bill you for paid plans and handle cancellations and refunds.
  • To send service emails such as sign-in links, trial-ending reminders and receipts.
  • To send launch news or product updates if you joined the waitlist. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep Monvra secure, prevent abuse and fix bugs.
  • To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Legal bases (EEA, UK and similar laws)

We rely on: contract, to provide the service you signed up for; legitimate interests, to secure and improve Monvra; consent, for marketing emails and when you choose to use AI features; and legal obligation, for tax and accounting records.

7. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run Monvra, under contracts that limit how they use it:

  • Hosting and infrastructure: to run our website and server.
  • AI provider (Anthropic): only when you use an AI feature.
  • Payment provider: to process subscriptions.
  • Email delivery: to send sign-in links and updates.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy will continue to apply.

8. Cookies and tracking

Monvra uses your browser’s local storage to save your plan and settings on your device. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels or third-party analytics. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to download them; Google receives your IP address as part of that request.

If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

9. How long we keep it

  • On your device: until you clear it.
  • Email and account: while your account or waitlist signup is active, and up to 12 months after, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
  • AI requests: not stored beyond short-lived technical logs (normally deleted within 30 days).
  • Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, typically up to 7 years.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, delete and correct, and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To use any of these rights, email shneorhoota9@gmail.com. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Simple choices you can make right now:

  • Delete your on-device data from Settings → Clear all my data.
  • Don’t use AI features if you don’t want your figures sent for an answer.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link in any email.
  • Cancel your plan from Billing → Manage or cancel.

11. Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), limit who on our team can access personal information, and keep the information we hold to a minimum. Card details are handled by our payment provider, never by our servers. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your device and email account protected. If we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

12. Children

Monvra is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. When we transfer personal information from the EEA, UK or Switzerland, we use appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Monvra changes. We will change the “Last updated” date above and, for important changes, tell you by email or in the app before they take effect.
